Corstorphine House Hotel is an imposing stone Victorian villa resting in the heart of Edinburgh. Corstorphine is on the main A8 tourist route into the capital, and 2 miles (ca 3.2km) from both Edinburgh Airport and City Centre.
Lying in its own grounds of half an acre (ca 2000m²) with Victorian walled gardens, which are a delight to rest and relax in during the Summer months, the House forms a true haven of peace and tranquility amongst the hustle and bustle of its surroundings. There is ample private parking within the grounds. Corstorphine House has been recently renovated to bring out the original features of this beautiful Victorian Villa, which has some of the most ornate cornices in this historic area of Corstorphine, which was once to doorway to City of Edinburgh. Corstorphine has been listed as one of the top 5 most desirable areas of Edinburgh. With a long established reputation for warm Scottish hospitality, reflected in the much-coveted RAC 'Warm Welcome' Award, The Corstorphine House provides substantial cooked Scottish breakfasts, with Continental, and vegetarian as alternatives, and special diets catered for as required. The Victorian Conservatory to the rear of the building, offers guests a quiet and relaxed corner to round up the news of the day. A very large suite offering luxurious accommodation with separate toilet room and en suite shower room, and a large sitting room set in a bright conservatory, offering superb views of the beautifully landscaped gardens. This suite is on the ground floor.
A choice of traditional cooked, vegetarian and continental breakfast is provided and is inclusive in the room rate.
From airport: Head for City Centre along the a8 leading to St. John's Road, Corstorphine. We are on the left just beyond the Drum Brae roundabout. FROM CITY CENTRE: Head for the Airport along the A8, pass Edinburgh Zoo and along St. John's Road, Corstorphine. We are just on the right near the shops.
